Anna Ovchinnikova was born in Moscow, Russia. Anna graduated from Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry with Masters in Industrial Design in 2013. In 2016 Anna graduated with honours from British Higher School of Art and Design with a degree in Art Direction. Anna has worked as a web design consultant, while continuing her independent work as an artist.
During her studies she represented her academy at art olympiads in academic painting, winning first places. She is a member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists. She is also an artist in resident at Kennedy Gallery in Midtown Sacramento.
Since 2017, after moving to the USA, Anna has grown her own art education program. Using an innovative teaching technique, Anna has helped kids and adults to develop their own ways of self-expression disregards of their past drawing skills. In her art classes, students have the opportunity to reveal their creative potential, and learn not to be afraid to express themselves.
